Anxiety and Mood Disorders
I work with anxiety and mood-related concerns, including generalized anxiety, panic, depression, and mood instability. These challenges may show up as persistent worry, physical tension/somatic symptoms, low mood, irritability, or difficulty finding motivation.
Together, we work to better understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behavior, while building practical skills to support emotional regulation and day-to-day functioning. Treatment will be guided by your goals/values and may include DBT, exposure work, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you feel more grounded and engaged in your life.
OCD (Exposure and Response Prevention – ERP)
I provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. OCD can involve intrusive thoughts, compulsions, avoidance, and cycles of reassurance-seeking. ERP helps disrupt this cycle, allowing you to live the life you want to live rather than a life that feels driven by fear.
Trauma
Trauma can affect mood, relationships, and your sense of safety in the world. I offer trauma-informed therapy, including exposure-based approaches when appropriate (including DBT PE), to help you process experiences at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
Chronic Illness & Health-Related Stress
Living with chronic illness (or caring for a loved one with chronic illness) can bring ongoing stress, uncertainty, and emotional challenges. Therapy can provide space to process these experiences, build coping strategies, and navigate the impact of illness on identity, relationships, and daily life.
ADHD & Autism (Neurodivergent-Affirming Care)
I provide affirming therapy for neurodivergent clients, focusing on increasing self-understanding, recovering from traumatic invalidation, grieving/accepting painful limitations, identifying goals and values (and exploring effective ways to help you move towards these goals), and increasing self-advocacy. Our work is collaborative and tailored to your strengths and needs.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
I offer affirming, supportive therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients. This may include exploring identity, supporting gender-affirming medical care, navigating relationships, coping with minority stress, or addressing broader mental health concerns.
